Pollen Is Racist Now!

(YAY! She made it to the HATE-HOAX LIST)

Video via CONSERVATIVE TRIBUNE:

MOONBATTERY has this:

Moonbats will want to tip their propeller-topped beanies to Woman of Color Darnell Byrd McPherson, who has raised awareness about how evil and rotten America is by revealing that even the pollen in this country is racist, since some got on her car:

The mayor of a South Carolina town believed she was the target of a hate crime after cars belonging to her and her husband were dusted with a mysterious, “yellow, sticky substance.”

Local and state police investigated the claims made by Lamar Mayor Darnell Byrd McPherson, who reported that on February 7 at 10 p.m. local time, someone sprayed her 2017 Symphony Silver Hyundai Elantra Sport and her husband’s soft-top 1998 Buick Roadmaster with a residue outside of their home. …

She said her husband and [a] neighbor “started scraping all over” their cars to rid what she described as a “grainy substance” akin to industrial spray foam used to patch concrete. …

Setting in was the deafening fear of an attack.

Newsweek amplifies this “deafening fear” as best it can, referring to a 1970 newspaper article to confirm that an incident with racial overtones once occurred in Lamar, current population 959.

The memories of the past were front and center for Mayor McPherson upon seeing her car defaced.

“It ignited some fear in my spirit,” she said. “My God, who would do that?”

Midway down the article, Newsweek grudgingly mentions this:

Authorities, however, doubted a crime had occurred and claimed the substance was actually pollen……..

Are Hate-Crimes Worse In Trump’s America?

This is the full version of Bob Frantz (TWITTER) and Peter Kirsanow discussing Peter’s article in NATIONAL REVIEW: “The Hate Crimes in Trump’s America Narrative“. The evidence shows “hate-crimes” were worse before Trump came into office. What I am sure has risen are faux-hate-crimes. The shorter clip of this and some stats (JUST THE FACTS MAM) can be found here below.

JUST THE FACTS MAM:

A few facts:

  • Over the last decade the number of hate crimes has fluctuated between approximately 5,600 and 7,800 per year.
  • There were 7,615 total hate crimes reported in “Trump’s America” in 2017. Ten years earlier, when the U.S. population was 25 million less and far fewer agencies were reporting hate crimes, the number was nearly the same: 7,624. In 2006 (ten years before Trump’s America began) there were 9,652 hate crimes.
  • Hate crimes reported aren’t the same thing as hate crimes confirmed. Many hate crime reports are based on a victim’s perception of the reason for the crime. If a criminal uses a slur during a robbery he would’ve committed anyway, it may end up being reported as a hate crime.
  • There are more hate-crime statutes and ordinances today than there were just a few years ago and far more law-enforcement personnel have been trained to report hate crimes. Just a short time ago, if a white guy hit a black guy it would have been classified as aggravated assault, whereas today that same act is more likely to be classified as a hate crime.
  • There were over 1,000 more hate crimes reported in 2017 than in 2016. Journalist Robby Soave, who testified at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights 2018 Hate Crimes Hearing, notes that the 2017 increase likely is the result of 1,000 more agencies beginning to report hate crimes in 2017 than reported in 2016.
  • Nearly 90 percent of police departments reported zero hate crimes in 2017. As portrayed by mainstream media, hate crimes generally consist of violent thugs beating, say, an outnumbered Jussie Smollett. In reality, hate crimes are more likely to consist of graffiti and vandalism.
  • If Trump’s “divisive rhetoric” is spurring hate crimes, it’s doing so in counterintuitive fashion: blacks are approximately 200 percent more likely to commit hate crimes than whites.
  • Without diminishing hate (or any other) crimes, perspective is in order. Hate crimes are a vanishingly small portion of total crime. For example, a total of 1,231,566 murders, rapes, aggravated assaults, and robberies occurred in 2015. 821, or .00067, were classified as hate crimes. That’s for an entire year. An average of 550 Americans are struck by lightning per year, most of which strikes occur during just half the year. Even in Trump’s America….

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (Plus Video: Secure Fence Act of 2006 Fail)

RIGHT SCOOP hat-tip to Rep Crenshaw:

Here is a portion of the border “secured” by the 2006 SECURE BORDER FENCE ACT... as you can see in the video (and the picture) just how effective this was:

Representative Peter King (R-NY) introduced the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which was subsequently passed with bi-partisan support and signed into law by then President George W. Bush. The goal of this law was to reduce illegal entry into the United States by adding fences and vehicle barriers along 700 miles of the southern border, plus provides funds for surveillance, checkpoints, additional lighting, and drones to support the border security. The overall program was funded with over $1 billion dollars, but in hindsight did little to stop the illegal invasion as the fences were easily scaled and the surveillance minimal if any along most of the fence. In 2008 the Reinstatement of the Secure Fence Act was introduced in Congress intended to add an additional 700 miles of two layer 14’ high fence, but the bill died in committee and never even came up for a vote. In 2010 a Finish the Fence bill was again unsuccessful and deemed too expensive and underfunded….

>> Building a Border Wall to stop Illegal Immigration

We recently posted this video of an immigration official saying building a border fence “isn’t possible” even though $1.2 billion was given in 2006 for a fence (100% FED UP):

Media Matters Slapped Like Redheaded Step-Child (Big-Stick)

Larry Elder takes Media Matter to the tool shed and excoriates the headline grasping leftist org:

  • Fox News guest co-host claims that FDR’s New Deal created the Great Depression (MEDIA MATTERS)

In this opening segment of his show, Larry sets forth a strong case for his view in 8-minutes.

I wanted to also have the first 2-hours of his show included in another upload (they were excellent), but alas, I am too tired and am working long hours. (I wish I could do this for a living! 870AM should have their own YouTube with uploads like National Review and other orgs.) Here are two articles mentioned during the show:

The Abortion Enthusiasts… Who Are They?

(MOONBATTERY hat-tip) Abortion is the ultimate sacrament in the liberal religion. Even to acknowledge the prolife point of view — let alone agree with it — is considered beyond the pale. How can something so awful have such intense proponents? Dave Morrison finds that the most vehement abortion enthusiasts are often childless middle-aged women who, rather than face the horror of their mistakes, attempt to cast their errors as virtue:

Capitalism vs. Socialism (Prager U)

Decades after capitalism seemed to have triumphed over socialism, politicians are once again arguing about the merits and drawbacks of these opposing economic systems. Why are we still having this debate? Andy Puzder, former CEO of the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., explains the misconceptions that keep the debate alive.

CLIMATE FLASHBACK: We Had A Decade In 1989

Bob Frantz (TWITTER) fills in for Hugh Hewitt and reads a 1989 Associated Press article about the dire warnings from the United Nations giving us a decade to turn it around.

  • “1989 FLASHBACK: U.N. Predicts Climate Disaster by 2000 if Global Warming Wasn’t Stopped” (BIG LEAGUE POLITICS)

Good segment – I added the “Goreacle” video and the full “Kat Timpf” segment from Greg Gutfeld’s show. (Related, “Occasional-Cortex Called A ‘Pompous Little Twit‘”) For more failed predictions see my: CLIMATE MANTRAS

The Wiki-Leaks “Dump” Was Already Public Knowledge (A Media Myth)

The Wiki-Leaks “Dump” pre-dated when Roger Stone supposedly told Trump. In other words… the information about the dump was already publicized BEFORE Roger Stone “told” Trump. While I do not agree with everything below, it is humorously pointed out that Congress and the media are clueless about htis simple fact.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, AKA, the “Pompous Little Twit”

John and Ken had me cracking-up today reading from a New York Post article and Patrick Moore’s Twitter.
