Conservatives, Libertarians, and the Iraq War ~ Isolated
What is the White Privilege Conference? It’s just another avenue for Democrats to cash in using black people. Democrats cashed in on blacks as slaves, now they use the black struggle to gain sympathy for other causes … socialist and communistic goals.
Once again “The Sage,” Larry Elder deepens his thoughts on an issue he merely scratched the surface of a couple of days ago (https://youtu.be/8S7ZExx24MM). In this newer edition from yesterday’s show (1-21-16) Larry talks about the recent viral attacks by the left against Stacey Dash saying there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. Prior to that he sets the stage with comparisons to how the media and the left attack Republicans but typically let Democratic political figures escape their wrath. Following Stash’s comment are those of Morgan Freeman’s similar comments.
Other topics dealt with are self-esteem, and the blatant double standards as well as putting all this in the “rich black elite crybaby” category. Great stuff, Larry at his best!

Listen To Larry On-Line at CRN-Talk Radio [LIVE: 12-2pm]:
Is America racist? Is it — as President Barack Obama said — “part of our DNA”? Author and talk-show host Larry Elder examines America’s legacy of racism, whether it’s one we can ever escape, and in the process offers a different way of looking at things like Ferguson, crime, police and racial profiling.
The Black Sphere’s Kevin Jackson and Sheriff David Clarke join Sean Hannity along with a hysterical leftist who shrieks about blacks as an oppressed class of people.
One can only wonder what the media spin would be if this were Biola or Liberty University. Here is a short noting by NEWSBUSTERS:
CBS This Morning stood out as the sole Big Three network morning newscast on Tuesday to cover a University of Missouri academic shouting down a reporter, briefly physically attacking him, and then calling people over to “get this reporter out of here…I need some muscle over here.” Norah O’Donnell spotlighted Melissa Click, “an assistant professor of mass media,” who along with “students, were telling the media — including a photography who confronted her — to back off.” ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today didn’t mention Click during their coverage of the racial controversy at Missouri.
GAY PATRIOTlikewise comments on the babies in university:
People used to think I was being hyperbolic when I spoke of ‘the Fascist Left.’ I was not. The bullies at the University of Missouri have not only succeeded in removing the President and the Chancellor for being insufficiently radical, they have also blocked the press from speaking to the protesters. The reason for this should be fairly obvious; every time the public is exposed to the real hatred and radicalism that underlies the #BlackLivesMatter movement, they lose support. They cannot control their members, so they attempt to control access to them.
…I bet you could find a dozen Social Justice Warriors on the scene at yesterday’s protest to say that the photographer who wouldn’t leave is guilty of “hurtful speech.” Needless to say, if he or any other student is disciplined for dissent from the prevailing PC wisdom at a public university, especially dissent in defense of their First Amendment rights, they should sue this garbage, fascist school for millions. FIRE has been helping college students sue the left-wing totalitarians who run their campuses for ages. If you know a student at MU, make sure they’re aware.
Jonathan Chait, a man of the left himself but one who’s fretted before about political correctness run wild, responds to today’s liberal spin that the Mizzou students and faculty who physically removed that reporter from a protest were just kids being kids so whaddaya gonna do, right?
But to imagine p.c. as simply a thing college kids do relieves us of taking it seriously as a coherent set of beliefs, which it very much is. Political correctness is a system of thought that denies the legitimacy of political pluralism on issues of race and gender. It manifests itself most prominently in campus settings not because it’s a passing phase, like acne, but because the academy is one of the few bastions of American life where the p.c. left can muster the strength to impose its political hegemony upon others. The phenomenon also exists in other nonacademic left-wing communities, many of them virtual ones centered on social media, and its defenders include professional left-wing intellectuals.
The upsurge of political correctness is not just greasy-kid stuff, and it’s not just a bunch of weird, unfortunate events that somehow keep happening over and over. It’s the expression of a political culture with consistent norms, and philosophical premises that happen to be incompatible with liberalism. The reason every Marxist government in the history of the world turned massively repressive is not because they all had the misfortune of being hijacked by murderous thugs. It’s that the ideology itself prioritizes class justice over individual rights and makes no allowance for legitimate disagreement…
That these activists have been able to prevail, even in the face of frequently harsh national publicity highlighting the blunt illiberalism of their methods, confirms that these incidents reflect something deeper than a series of one-off episodes. They are carrying out the ideals of a movement that regards the delegitimization of dissent as a first-order goal.
Precisely. The reason these incidents happen on campuses isn’t because “college shenanigans!” or whatever, it’s because this is where they have the numbers. When that scumbag professor calls for “muscle” to remove a reporter from the public square, she can get it. They’re accountable to no one, partly because of tenure and partly because they can and will mau-mau any state official as racist/sexist etc who comes down on them. What you’re seeing here, per Chait’s apt analogy, is progressivism unchecked. How do you like it? How will you like it when they have the numbers to pass a “hate speech” law and they’ve got five miserable lockstep left-wing hacks on the Supreme Court to uphold it?….
California passed the Racial Mascots Act. It bans schools from giving teams racially insensitive names like Redskins. Should the Redskins keep their name? See Democrats calling more American Indians racist in this post: “A Liberal Blogger Calls 90% of Native-Americans Racist“
While it seems liberals may think that raising the minimum wage will raise living standards for poor Americans, they should have seen this coming.
With Los Angeles joining Seattle in setting a $15 minimum wage (Los Angeles by 2020, and Seattle by 2021), it stands to reason that McDonald’s would find a way around simply paying workers more, as Vox pointed out the obvious fact that “the reality is that McDonald’s just wants to make money.”
In a very real-world example of big business’ response to liberal policies, a conservative Twitter user sent Labor Day wishes from McDonald’s workers whose minimum wage never goes up.
…According to Clarke, their rhetoric has caused an “open season” on police officers.
“I am too pissed off tonight to be diplomatic with what’s going on and I’m not going to stick my head in the sand about it,” Clarke said. “I said last December war had been declared on the American police officer led by some high profile people, one coming out of the White House, and one coming out of the United State Department of Justice. And it’s open season right now. No doubt about it.”
“I’m tired of people calling these black activists,” he added. “They’re not black activists. This is black slime and it needs to be eradicated from American society. I need every law abiding person in America to stand up and start pushing back against this slime.”
These are part of the opening minutes of Larry Elder’s Show the day of the murders. He ends this segment with “beam me up Scotty.” Perfect. Larry is insightful mainly because of his litany of Democratic hypocrisies noted (almost daily).
And in the case of Vester Lee Flanagan II (AKA, Bryce Williams), like Floyd Lee Corkins II, these and the many others seemed to be groomed by the left to feel soo disadvantaged that it requires a sort of “war.”
The latest example coming from Hillary Clinton:
Hillary Clinton on Thursday likened the Republican presidential field to terrorist extremists based on their views of women.
“Extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups,” Clinton said during a campaign speech at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. ”We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world. But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be president of the United States. Yet, they espouse out of touch and out-of-date policies. They are dead-wrong for 21st century America. We are going forward. We are not going back.”
