Pretti was a left-wing activist who knew what he was getting himself into, not some Mother Theresa nurse who happened to be just a protester or legal observer. We know he was actually unemployed at the time of his death.
These people are unhinged, and Mr. Pretti died because of his own reckless actions.

At least two Democratic Minnesota state officials have been identified as administrators and dispatchers in the leaked chats. Minnesota state Rep. Brad Tabke coordinates the Scott County ICE Watch Signal chat, according to evidence showing he recruited people for patrol and dispatch shifts. Minnesota state Rep. Alex Falconer also participated in the chat and publicly admitted his role. “We’ve got a couple of groups on the app Signal that we would love for you to join,” Falconer told supporters at campaign stops. It is still true that “if you don’t comply, you may die.” Yes, both Alex Pretti and Renee Good’s lives were preventable tragedies, but the rhetoric from Democrats and their assisting in other’s feeling righteous in breaking the law is the real story!

Renee Good was a quasi-trained, anti-ICE protestor getting paid to impede ICE was the cause… having her narcissism fed by Leftist government rapidly led to her death:
Sanctuary states and cities will not allow ICE to detain and walk out of jail safely (handcuffed) a criminal illegal alien.
ICE then must dress in military type garb with bullet proof vests, more powerful weapons, a larger group of persons, to go and capture these criminal illegal aliens at a place of residence or work, where these criminal illegal aliens have access to weapons, they did not have in the jail setting. This requires more men and a possibility of collateral damage.
In the process of entering work and residence of stopping a car with the suspect, this is when non-criminal illegal aliens are often picked up. You know, the abuelas the left says they are so concerned about. If they wanted to give these grandmothers a chance to stay in the country, then hand over the criminal illegal aliens from jail.
In states that co-operate, these aliens are handed over peacefully to one or two ICE officers from jail. Another factor is if ICE, when going into neighborhoods to find the worst of the worst, if they have protestors blocking the way, police are called in to enforce basic traffic laws (yes, at the threat of impound… gasp). Another contributing factor that saves public lives in states that cooperate is that if ICE needs help, they can call 911, and the police respond. In “sanctuary” [for the criminals, not the taxpayers] states, the police are ordered to ignore such calls – making the public causal collateral damage.
Democrat politicians then say such actions – they created the environment for this to happen – are fascist, tyrannical, and should be fought against. In the case of Minnesota, to cover up billions stolen from the coffers of the American taxpayer.
Renee Nicole Good [who believed her state representatives that this is the Third Reich rising – ppl are dumb as bricks!], also, while being given clear orders from law enforcement to get out of her vehicle, put the car into reverse, then gassed it forward towards an officer who was walking around the vehicle. Miss Good’s “wife” egged her on to “drive, baby, drive.”
ALL OF THE ABOVE contributed to this woman committing many felonies throughout the day in her attempt to stop a legal action by law enforcement. That would not have happened if these Democrat politicians cared about their constituents. Well, their American constituents. Miss Good would most definitely still be alive if she was trying this in say, Alabama.
But the Left wants a boogieman, for political reasons — let’s hope the majority of the American public start saying no to such Marxian tactics.
ALL THAT BEING SAID, ICE did disarm Alex Pretti… and so this should have changed the direction of the officers in dealing with Alex Pretti. Also what needs to be said is Alex’s resistance, RATHER THAN COMPLYING, was the key contributing factor to any confusion. At that point “gun, gun” was being yelled, everyone may not have been seeing that he was disarmed, or, if he was reaching for a secondary weapon in the chaos during the yelling of “gun, gun.”
All this chaos – DEMOCRAT FOMENTED…
is the reason this is a tragedy. Add this into the mix:
Another officer removed the man’s sidearm, and then walked away, but it was discharged negligently (see for yourself).
The Sig P320 is notorious for doing, but typically only when dropped. That then triggered the other agents to think that the man on the ground, Alex Pretti, had begun shooting, so they neutralized the perceived threat.
If this is what happened, it’s an incredibly unfortunate accident in Minneapolis.
That does not matter however… Dems shouldn’t have propagandized, Minnesota should have cooperated, thus, Good and Pretti wouldn’t even have been there. LAST SAFETY CHECK? Don’t insert yourself into official law enforcement operations when your state officials fail you.
Which is why this “Twi-X” is so important. Not only would Mister Pretti and Misses Good be alive today [most probably] if my bullet points were the opposite, but they would also be alive if they hadn’t inserted themselves into an operation. Which makes these… “Awful But Lawful”

One group deliberately put themselves in danger by threatening police officers.
The other includes SOME of the actual victims—people who were harmed by illegal immigrants who aren’t supposed to be in our country at all.
Yet the left directs its outrage selectively, and the hypocrisy is both exhausting and morally bankrupt.
A short video I did from work April 4th immediately caused a response from a #NeverTrump follower. But first, the first thing I thought of when he engaged in this worse case scenario the DAY OF the tariff war against China — because this was all about getting our allies to be fairer with us with their own markets as well as getting them on the same page against China — were the price of eggs. (POWERLINE – April 4th is when I posted this April 2nd story on my sites FB):
Democrats thought they had a great issue in the high price of eggs, due mostly to avian bird flu. In January, they were touting record-high egg prices as proof of the failure of Trump’s administration–even though the figures released in January were for December, before Trump’s inauguration.
Weirdly, the Democrats’ harping on eggs has continued even as the price has plummeted, as in this LA Times column, published on March 8:

U.S. egg prices hit a record average of $4.95 per dozen in January, surpassing a previous record set in January 2023, according to federal data.

What was it that cartoon villains used to say? Curses, foiled again! It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for the Democrats. They apparently are left with no better strategy than torching Teslas.

If the Left thought the argument in February was effective – egg prices being higher than when Trump took office – what does that do to the argument now that egg prices are lower slightly than when Trump took office? (FYI, egg prices will rise temporarily as we get into April. BTW, if you do not know why, have a kid, or go to church. Preferably both.)

The best way to express what happened is by comparing it to something that happened in elementary schools when my boys went. There was a time when my sone could bring invites to his birthday party to a few friends. But school administrators said this was unfair, so the new rule was the birthday child had to invite the entire class.
The same with wanting to checking China’s ambitions and hurting them in their war against us. Because they are part of the World Trade Organization, the United States just couldn’t raise tariffs against China alone. So we had to raise tariffs on the world. (This of course had it’s benefits as well with countries wanting to have free trade for reals.) But as soon as China responded with tariffs of their own, the U.S. had carte blanche to deal with China as we see fit.
So, the stock market and DOW have made some comebacks already… this will be a long term goal to fight China’s war with the West. So ups and downs will be expected. But the immediacy and not understanding the goals and pigeon holing the outcome literally in the first days is – well – someone with TDS would do.

I was visibly upset about this information while at work. I had no idea. The extent of this influence over the many years since the beginning of the Great Leap Forward and all the organizations it holds sway over, I was thinking to myself, “how can we stop this? A former student, who accompanied Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) on a trip to China in 1995, says the Democratic vice presidential candidate “adores” communist China and is “a Moaist to the core.”
“It was almost a daily revelation of how much he adores the communist regime,” the former student, who identified himself only as “Shad,” told Alpha News. Former President Donald Trump called Walz a “radical leftist” soon after Kamala Harris chose the Minnesota governor as her running mate.
Walz was a frequent visitor to China for 10 years of his life as he taught at a high school as part of a Harvard University program. He made his first trip to China in 1989 but was in Hong Kong when the Tiananmen Square protests prompted the Beijing government to brutally suppress and kill the student demonstrators.
Walz later visited the site of the massacre, according to The New York Times, but apparently did not disapprove of the violence. He returned home to sing the praises of China. Five years later, he married Gwen Whipple on the anniversary of the government crackdown as his wife noted that Walz “wanted to have a date he’ll always remember,” according(ARCHIVE.COM) to the Wall Street Journal. The couple honeymooned in China.
Walz visited China by his own estimation “about 30 times” over the next decade as he sponsored summer trips for students. He was even a visiting fellow at a Chinese university. Shad was one of those students who traveled with Walz throughout China. But he says Walz was not just captivated by the geography of the country; he loved the ideology.
“There was no doubt he was a true believer,” Shad said. “I’ve been trying to tell people this for 30 years. Nobody wanted to listen. “At night, we’d go out, we’d walk the street fairs. We’d be buying souvenirs and Tim was always buying the Little Red Book. He said he gave them as gifts … I saw him buy at least a dozen on the trip,” he said, referring to the book of quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong, the Chinese dictator who ruled China and killed tens of millions of people from 1949 till his death in 1976.
“It would be like [being] in Germany and buying copies of Mein Kampf,” Shad told Alpha News. “If there was any doubt about what I’m saying just look at the policies enacted by his administration like the country’s worst abortion law, anti-free speech, the riots,” Shad noted. “He’s a Maoist to the core and should not be underestimated.”
Shad drew attention to the similarities between the messaging of Walz and Kamala Harris—including phrases like “the politics of joy” and “unburdened by what has been”—and the propaganda materials used by Mao. “People need to have their eyes wide open,” Shad said. “The snitch hotline in Minnesota is straight out of CCP. Lisa Hanson once owned a wine and coffee bistro south of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has a simple warning for Americans regarding presumptive Democratic VP candidate Gov. Tim Walz: “You do not want tyranny at this level.”
Hanson faced 90 days in jail because she re-opened her Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro business during Walz’s draconian COVID regulations.
The business owner, who has eight children and eighteen grandchildren, witnessed Walz ruling with his iron fist. He shut down supposed non-essential businesses like “bars, restaurants, gyms, dance studios, and hair salons.”
Walz allowed liquor stores and strip clubs to remain open.
“He shut down a lot of the mom-and-pop shops, those folks that were just trying to make a living and provide a great product and a great service,” Hanson told Fox News Digital. “In contrast, he allowed big box stores, etc. to stay open. Really incredible, an incredible use of tyranny against the people.”
Hanson eventually decided to re-open her business and defied Walz’s renewed shutdown order for bars and restaurants six times between December 2020 and January 2021.
She was convicted in December 2021 on misdemeanor charges and received the maximum sentence of 90 days and a $1,000 fine. Hanson ended up serving two-thirds of her sentence, 60 days.. …
