Of 25,000 voter registrations only about 1,793 were legal (SEIU)

Gateway Pundit Documents a voter fraud case that may be typical of SEIU members:

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) member Steve Caddle of Houston, Texas has been caught registering 23,207 fake voters in Harris County alone due to the hard detective work of Catherine Engelbrecht and her “True the Vote” project.

[….]

The union thug behind this particular criminal enterprise admitted only that there “had been mistakes made.” Yeah, like not worrying about icebergs was just a “mistake” made by the Titanic’s crew! Of the 25,000 voter registrations turned in by Caddle only about 1,793 were legal.

“Vacant lots had several voters registered on them. An eight-bed halfway house had more than 40 voters registered at its address,” Engelbrecht said. “We then decided to look at who was registering the voters.”

….The other registrations included one of a woman who registered six times in the same day; registrations of non-citizens; so many applications from one Houston Voters collector in one day that it was deemed to be beyond human capability; and 1,597 registrations that named the same person multiple times, often with different signatures.

Does anyone have any doubt that this sort of crime has been perpetrated by Democrats the nation over? How many millions of fake, dead, nonexistent, and/or fraudulent voters have Democrats foisted upon the voter rolls in every corner of the nation?…

BREAKING NEWS: Racial Politics and Power

It is apparent that the Obama White  House has swallowed the progressive line that racism can only be enforced by those in power. Thomas Sowell notes this definition in his recent book, Intellectuals and Society:

Some intellectuals who have been opposed to the principle of racism have nevertheless remained either silent or apologetic when black community leaders have made racist attacks on Asian storekeepers in black ghettos, or on whites in general or Jews in particular. Some intellectuals have even redefined racism in a way to make blacks ineligible for the label*—another exercise in verbal virtuosity. Many among the intelligentsia have denounced “greed” among corporate executives whose incomes are a fraction of the incomes of professional athletes or entertainers who are seldom, if ever, accused of greed.

[….]

* On grounds that only those with power can be racists— a proviso never part of the definition before and one which would imply that Nazis were not racists during the 1920s, before they took power.

Andrew Breitbart at Big Government — Which Malik Shabazz Visited White House in July 2009, Mr. President? — notes the recent case that has caused all the hub-bub:

In May 2009, the Obama/Holder Justice Department dropped charges in a voter intimidation case against Malik Shabazz, a leader of the New Black Panther Party, despite having already won a summary judgment against him, and his New Black Panther Party callegues King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson who were video-taped outside polling place in Philadelphia intimidating voters as they arrived on election day, 2008.  In July 2009, when Congress began looking into the matter, someone named Malik Shabazz visited the private residence at the White House.

When news of the visit was released under the auspices of transparency, the White House denied that the Malik Shabazz on the visitor’s log was the same Malik Shabazz involved in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case.  According to Norm Eisen, special counsel to the president for ethics and government reform, the records contained “a few “false positives” – names that make you think of a well-known person, but are actually someone else.”  He specifically cited Malik Shabazz as an example of one of these “false positives”.

At the time, the media did not challenge the White House on the veracity of this claim.  The White House’s position was, basically: “We’re being transparent, here are all the visitor logs, and this guy is not the guy you think he is, TRUST US.”

The great thing about transparency – when there is actual transparency – is that it renders trust unnecessary.  We ask that the White House identify which Malik Shabazz visited the White House residence on July 25, 2009.

In July 2010,  J. Christian Adams, former attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the Dept. of Justice, testified before the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights that Obama Appointee Julie Fernandes, deputy assistant attorney general in the Civil Rights Division in charge of voting matters, told DOJ attorneys charged with enforcing Voters’ Rights Law that the Obama administration would not file election-related cases against minority defendants — no matter the alleged violation of law.

According to Adams, that policy is what allowed Malik Shabazz and Jerry Jackson to walk away without punishment and weapon wielding King Samir Shabazz to receive a wrist-slap sentence that merely prohibits him from appearing at a polling place until after 2012.

[….]

The idea that an individual named Malik Shabazz had a private meeting in the White House residence in July 2009 is highly relevant because throughout July, Congressmen Frank Wolf (R-VA) and Lamar Smith (R-TX) were beginning to ask questions about to the dropped charges against the NBPP. So was the United States Commission on Civil Rights.  Here is a timeline, according to Adams:

  • July 8, Representative Frank Wolf sent a letter to Judiciary Chairman John Conyers and Ranking Member Lamar Smith demanding hearings before the House Judiciary Committee.
  • July 9, Ten members of the House sent a letter demanding the DOJ Inspector General open an investigation.
  • July 13, The Dept. of Justice replied but their letter contained factual inaccuracies about the case
  • July 17  Smith and Wolf send a swift and pointed rebuttal
  • July 20, Low-level DOJ staffers were sent to the Hill to brief Wolf on the Panther story, but Wolf threw them out of his office claiming they weren’t being truthful to him.
  • July 22, Wolf sent another letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding answers.
  • July 24, Portia Robinson, intergovernmental liaison at DOJ, sent a letter to the Civil Rights Commission trying to deflect attention.
  • July 25, a man named Malik Shabazz visited the exclusive, private residence in the White House.
  • July 30, the Washington Times broke the news that top political appointee, Tom Perrelli (the #3 official at Justice) was involved in the dismissal of the case.  Perrelli was also a top campaign bundler for Obama.

The White House has assured the American people that the Malik Shabazz that visited the White House at that time is not the same Malik Shabazz at the center of the New Black Panther story.  But, the White House has not provided any information to verify its contention or who this “other” Malik Shabazz is….

Pelosi Worse Speaker EVA!

Gateway Pundit brings in the idea (well, pretty much provable fact) that Pelosi is the worst speaker eva!

…During Pelosi’s first year as Speaker in 2007 the deficit was $160 billion. The national deficit last year reached a all-time record of $1.4 Trillion after the failed stimulus and record spending by the democrats. This was more than eight times larger than what it was when Pelosi and democrats took over in 2007. The deficit will come close this year to matching last year’s record.

No wonder these radicals are not running on their record!

And if that is not bad enough… The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office predicted earlier this year that Obama’s budget plans would generate deficits over the upcoming decade that would total $9.8 trillion

Little Control In Somalia

Somalia is a wreck! There have been U.S. Troops (not regular infantry) sent over to Africa for a few years now. I imagine that there are some Spec-Op missions and Recon missions going on, not only is Somalia but in other countries that are having Islamo-Nazi issues. Here is some input from Foreign Policy magazine:

Imagine if the U.S. government only controlled a few blocks on either side of the White House, or if French troops securing the Élysée Palace were afraid to march down the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. It’s a good bet your government is in trouble when it doesn’t even control the district where the presidential palace is located. Welcome to Somalia. In the capital city of Mogadishu, the government is literally fighting for its life.

We all know the story: Somalia is the world’s biggest no-go zone. The country’s internationally supported government wouldn’t last through the night were it not for a 7,000-strong African Union peacekeeping force that protects them, and civilian toll of the last two decades of conflict been catastrophic — a quarter of the population has been uprooted by violence. In recent months, the story has gotten even worse thanks to two main Islamist militia groups, al-Shabab and Hizbul al-Islam, which control much of the country. Al Shabab professes allegiance to al Qaeda and should not be taken lightly: The group claimed responsibility for bombing two Ugandan restaurants packed with spectators watching the World Cup this summer.

The two main insurgent groups are intent on taking the capital (and as a second priority, each other). A Ramadan offensive by al-Shabab left 31 members of parliament dead. Then, on Sept. 20, a suicide bomber tried to attack the presidential palace, though he killed only himself. Three days later, street battles in the city’s south (it’s unclear where, exactly) left two dozen dead as insurgents attempted to gain control of strategic roads. No wonder every article about Somalia these days likes to trumpet the supposed fact that government forces control no more than a few blocks of the capital city.

In fact, the government controls a bit more than a few blocks — 37.5 percent of Mogadishu, according to the United Nations. That’s six city districts, or approximately 8 square miles (for comparison, Washington, D.C., is 61.4 square miles). Insurgents control another 31.25 percent, or five districts, and a final 31.25 percent of Mogadishu is considered “disputed” territory….

Jihad Watch notes ther radio raids there for use in propaganda:

…The weekend’s raids bring the number of radio stations seized by militants in Mogadishu this year to five. Less than a month ago, al-Shabaab militants seized another privately-owned Mogadishu station, Radio Holy Quran (IQK), according to NUSOJ. The group said IQK also received a letter from the militants before the raid.

Earlier this year, al-Shabaab and Hizbul al-Islam ordered radio stations in the Somali capital to stop playing music. HornAfrik was one of three stations that defied that ban….

…(Don’t touch that dial: Jihadis raid radio stations in Somalia)…

….It is, of course, in the jihadists’ interest to suppress even this basic information, or allow it only selectively. Besides, a terrified, demoralized, exhausted population is more inclined to submit.

The journalists from GBC, which was popular for its broadcasts of international football matches, said they had been ordered to refer to the government as “apostate”.

The “apostate” government is therefore, according to Islamic law and Muhammad’s own instructions, lawful for slaughter…

Obama Drivel!

From Gateway Pundit:

In 2007- Barack Obama said that genocide was preferable to keeping US troops in Iraq to secure the peace.

In 2008- Barack Obama “hid behind the bushes” when Russian tanks plowed through Georgia.

In 2009- When freedom activists cried out for Barack Obama, he sat on his hands as Iranian democracy protesters were gunned down by regime thugs on rooftops.
