12-Cartoonists Gave Their Life For Freedom (Updated)

The AP refused to post any images like this:

Muhammad 2

Muhammad

Other media sites pixelated the image out, her for instance is the Daily Mail:

PIXEL

However, for decades the AP has had this image up and even like it enough to sell a copy of it:

Piss Christ

Here is the The Blaze noting this inconsistency first pointed out via The Washington Examiner:

The Associated Press is coming under fire over its inconsistency in dealing with controversial religious images, after censoring photos that could offend Muslims, while leaving a photo that could offend Christians intact.

[….]

“It’s been our policy for years that we refrain from moving deliberately provocative images,” AP spokesman Paul Colford told BuzzFeed.

But the Washington Examiner noted that the Associated Press has long featured Andres Serrano’s “Piss Christ” image, in which Jesus on the cross is immersed in the photographer’s urine. After the “Piss Christ” image drew attention online, the AP pulled it from its database.

Unfortunately the AP got it backwards. They should have posted this for sale right along the piss christ::

Moonbattery notes this:

As Zombie reminds us, the point of terrorizing Charlie Hedbo was to impose sharia law. Muslims can silence one publication, and they can easily silence their liberal media enablers, but they can’t silence the whole Internet.

Do your part to defend Western Civilization by disseminating pictures Muslims don’t like far and wide, by blog, social media, email, pony express, or whatever means you have.

But where to get the pictures? Easy.

The Mohammed Image Archive, which I have hosted at zombietime since the day of the original “Mohammed cartoon crisis” back in May of 2006, has not only a full collection of the original cartoons, but more importantly the largest collection of Mohammed imagery ever assembled in the history of the world.

  • After the Examiner piece published, the AP apparently took down the “Piss Christ”purchase link.
  • UPDATE: From the AP, you can still purchase a painting of the Virgin Mary decorated with elephant feces. <— That is now down as well.

CNN still has it’s up even though Breitbart has noted the following:

Politico has obtained an email from CNN senior editorial director Richard Griffiths that tells staffers that the Charlie Hebdo Muhammad cartoons are not to be shown on any CNN platform. “Although we are not at this time showing the Charlie Hebdo cartoons of the Prophet considered offensive by many Muslims,” Griffith writes, “platforms are encouraged to verbally describe the cartoons in detail.”

What can be found big as life at CNN’s website are numerous photos of “Piss Christ.” On top of the photo embedded above, this was sent to me from a Twitter follower.

It Turns Out FoxNews Doesn’t Control Republicans ~ Cue Gnashing of Teeth

To be fair, the gnashing will be coming from both sides. Here is how one left leaning person put it on my FB:boombenghazi

  • Funny how Faux News has nothing on this report. Curious to see what crackhead Megyn Kelly has to say about this.

This was my response:

I am at Wolf Creek right now [the Brewery], but I was at work. You can always post stuff like that on my timeline with something like: “hey, I don’t know if you saw this, but the Repubs are shooting down some theories that the media ~ read here Fox ~ have been putting forward. What are your thoughts when you get the time?”

That way you are being approachable as well as putting the onus on me to back up some of what I previously thought. Just some tips on being strategic in your challenges.

Another right-leaning person on a friends FB said this:

  • I don’t care what the Times says happened or not. All they care about is clearing Hillary.

My response to a compatriot:

Trust me, Trey Gowdy is not about “clearing” Hillary.

If we cannot admit evidence into a debate that counter’s our position — at all — we are merely a clanging bell. It is one reason I reject neo-Darwinism as well as conspiracy theories… they can never be wrong.

Much to the dismay and with gnashing of teeth, liberals have to acknowledge that Fox News does not control (insert evil laughter *here*) Republicans.

Trey Gowdy, the “bulldog of justice” in the House and a V E R Y conservative member of the House led the two year investigation. While I was thinking there was more to the story, Rep. Gowdy had WAY more information and evidence and eyewitness testimony than Fox News or others in the blogosphere had (obviously). So Rep. Gowdy being a “bulldog” came to a fair decision for sure, putting to rest my own pet-theories. Here is National Review:

A two-year investigation by the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees. . . .

The investigation of the politically charged incident determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria.

In response to accusations that the administration misled the American public in the days following the Benghazi attack by blaming events on a spontaneous protest against a YouTube video:

In the immediate aftermath of the attack, intelligence about who carried it out and why was contradictory, the report found. That led Susan Rice, then U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, to inaccurately assert that the attack had evolved from a protest, when in fact there had been no protest. But it was intelligence analysts, not political appointees, who made the wrong call, the committee found. The report did not conclude that Rice or any other government official acted in bad faith or intentionally misled the American people….

What Trey Gowdy knows is the “bad faith” is something meant more for contract law/legal matters. Not the Benghazi issue in the House. Here is the conclusion of the report:

Concluding Paragraph

This report is the result of nearly two years of intensive investigation. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence reviewed thousands of pages of intelligence assessments, cables, notes, and emails; held 20 Committee events and hearings; and conducted detailed interviews with senior intelligence officials and eyewitnesses to the attacks, including eight security personnel on the ground in Benghazi that night. Members and Staff spent thousands of hours intensively looking at every aspect of the tragedy. The report is therefore meant to serve as the definitive House statement on the Intelligence Community’s activities before, during and after the tragic events that caused the deaths of four brave Americans. Despite the highly sensitive nature of these activities, the report has endeavored to make the facts and conclusions within this report widely and publicly available so that the American public can separate actual fact from rumor and unsupported innuendo. Only with a full accounting of the facts can we ensure that tragedies like this one never happen again.

Again, I trust Rep. Gowdy’s attentiveness and eat crow gracefully.

I think the only activity the House should be concerned with is getting some of the 300[+] bills they wrote and passed [many with Democrats on-board and bi-partisen activity] that Harry Reid has scuttled since 2006 passed.

The IRS crime should squared away with immunity going to Lerner for info or her going to jail. Getting Obama-Care replaced and creating a better business environment in America. Black conservative voices should capitalize on the fact that unemployment in the black community is high and the fact that Obama essentially is giving the opportunity to 5-million people (the ones that will come forward will probably be about 1.5 million or so) to get legal job hiring status. THUS, bringing unemployment ~ esp. in the black community ~ higher (see here).

From this mid-term on we have to be strategic, and Benghazi is not one of those hills to die on. And TRUE liberals should be upset that all these hard-drives conveniently crashed… and as a new person was added to the list to be investigated… walla, their hard-drive crashed. The power of the government to audit political enemies was a BIG deal in the Nixon investigation. But not now? The chances of these hard-drives crashing like this would be 3,139,250-to-1:

Strategic battles, conservatives (myself included) will have to give-up pet peeves.

Paul Krugman Exemplifies Elitist/Liberal Mentality To-The-Tee!

Breitbart adds a little to this from the transcript:

On Thursday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” co-panelist Greg Gutfeld, author of “Not Cool: The Hipster Elite and Their War on You,” used his monologue segment to the hypocrisy in taking a $25,000 a month payout to point out income inequality at the City University of New York, which is a salary eight times what other professors make at the same institution.

“Today the award goes to New York Times blogger and Obama’s favorite economist Paul Krugman, who just got hired by the City University of New York to drop by once in a while,” Gutfeld said. “Apparently the school is going to pay the Krugster 25 grand a month to play a modest role at events dealing with inequality. Let’s recap – Krugs will yack about inequality for 25Gs a month. This is genius for is there no better way to point out the absurd extremes of inequality than getting paid eight times what other professors get? And no teaching. This is pure performance art — a stroke of masterful self-perpetuating employment. It’s like a fireman get paid for arson, a doctor spreading the flu so he can treat it. He creates the problem and arrives on the scene to provide the solution. He’s like alcohol”….

The Blaze points out that “CUNY is a publicly funded school… [and] according to Gawker pays its adjunct professors roughly $3,000 per course. Meanwhile, tenured professors make approximately $116,364 per year. Tenured professors are expected to teach, hold seminars and publish.” The Blaze continues:

  • The City University of New York will pay economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman an estimated $225,000 over the course of nine months to participate in certain activities involving the school’s Graduate Center and Luxembourg Income Study Center.

And people wonder why tuition is sooo high. Because they have to pay elite scumbags like Krugman.

Biggest Political Blunder in a Hundred Years

Via Libertarian Republican:

Via Breitbart:

Republicans have erased a nine-point deficit on the generic congressional ballot and are tied with Democrats, according to a Quinnipiac poll released this week.

On the generic ballot, each party received 39 percent of the vote, while “a combined 23 percent of registered voters either prefer another candidate, wouldn’t vote, or are undecided.”

In late September before Obamacare rolled out, Democrats had a nine-point advantage on the generic ballot. Republicans have since won over independents, who had split evenly last month, winning them by “an 11-point margin, 37 percent to 26 percent.”

`The Danger of Symbolic Actions` ~ Fox`s The Five Retaliates Against Gawker (as do I)

From Video Description:

(Via Media’ite) Fox’s “The Five” retaliates against Gawker’s making public the addresses of all gun owners in NY by giving out the phone number of Gawkers founder, Nick Denton, which is (for now):

What would be nice is for someone to post online his home address. Greg Gutfeld makes the point that Gawker writes positively about pedophilia, but negatively about legal gun-owners. (Pedophilia is one of the traumas in children’s lives that drive many to homosexuality, and many in the community want to normalize this somewhat in order to validate their not dealing with this traumatic event in their lives. This, they feel, normalizes them into culture, or is some form of validation)

I will continue to post information here on this topic (addresses and haunts Nick Denton and friends like to hang at), including on Nick’s boyfriend, Derrence Washington. His FaceBook is found here for those wishing to see if he will field questions about Nick’s actions: http://www.facebook.com/derrence

Derrence lives in New York:

Again, I will update this post as I find info. I assume these Texas residence are Derrence’s family since he himself is a Houston, Texas native. Here are a few family members Face-Book profiles:

What is interesting is that many of his family members have studied criminal justice, and I would bet own firearms. I feel bad as well for making public these people — many are fellow believers (at least a cursory look would tell me that. As you know, anyone can “say” they are Christian). At any rate, one should keep all the people in New York who are now known by criminals to not own guns, those who are in law enforcement (D.A.’s, policemen and women, judges, special crime units [gang units], and the like) whom criminals know their home addresses… as well as Nick and Derrence’s friends and family in prayer. Pray for their safety and well being. Why do I say that, because any address is easy to find once you have a name and city. I and my family can likewise go for some pleading of the precious blood of the lamb.
