My Discussions/Debates/Critiques
Discussing Evidences for the General Theory of Evolution… Still Waiting. This debate came to be because of a YouTube video showing an ESPN sport announcer rejecting Darwin’s theory of evolution. A biologist/atheist engaged with me on the topic of biology and evolution.
Taking Physicist Stephen Barr to Task Over St. Augustine. Dinesh D’Souza was filling in for Dennis Prager and was interviewing physicist Stephen Barr. During this interview Dr. Barr intimated that St. Augustine supported an allegorical view of Scripture… in that he [Augustine] supports[ed] an old-age view of the earth and universe. This simply is not true.
Concepts: “Is Reality Merely a Perception?” In this response to a local author, I show that science has, since the early 1900’s have emboldened the Genesis view of creation ex nihilo. MANY quotes by agnostic and atheist scientists supporting this view.
Concepts: “Let There Be Light!” (Points of Departure). A local writer asks, “Of course, that interpretation invites the question, who or what created God.” Responses include my own response as well as video responses to the same topic by William Lane Craig and Greg Koukl.
My Discussion with Professor Tom Melendy (Part 1). This conversation came about because a journalist that has worked at the New York Times, Slate, and the like… who works currently at Yahoo, came out as a young-earth creationist she subsequently got SLAMMED on her social media sites. So I mozied over to her Facebook and read a lot of the comments. I planned on grabbing a single detractor and engaging him/her. I saw Dr. Melendy’s comments and figured he was the most erudite… and dove into the convo.

Does God Exist ~ William Lane Craig debates Peter Atkins. This is a rematch of sorts, and Dr. Craig wins as usual. The debate took place in front of a capacity audience at the University of Manchester in 2011. So you get to hear the much stronger case made now than when the two first met.

It was recorded on Friday 21st October 2011 as part of the UK Reasonable Faith Tour with William Lane Craig.
