Rep. Byron Donald’s Jim Crow Comments

A couple “house keeping” issues… the 2nd video below is from a Democrat oriented RUMBLE channel. Which I support, BECAUSE, freedom of speech is ALL SIDES!

I love the video for the reason that Joy Reid at least played the entire clip for clarity…. which showed just how “out of sequence” her later questioning of Byon was.

I will also post the response [comment] I made on Blue Wave Network’s video under that video.

BUT FIRST, Byron responding to dumb Dems:

FINISH HIM: Byron Donalds Claps Back HARD on Hakeem Jeffries Over Jim Crow Comments (TWITCHY)

Here is Joy Reid’s interview with the Florida Rep:

GOP Congressman Facing Backlash for Defending Jim Crow’s “Positive Aspects”

Dumb.

His point wasn’t about the “positiveness of Jim Crow,” but the negativeness of Democratic policies since Lyndon Johnson (LBJ) and the welfare state. Here are my comments:

That was very nice of Joy to play the full quote. In the tradition of Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Shelby Steele, Barak Obama, or Larry Elder Byron discusses the assault by the progressive Left on the black family. Joy, uses a non-sequitur of a horrible event to the larger position Byron made about the cohesiveness of the black family then, versus now.

  • “One of these ‘favors’ was the welfare state. A vastly expanded welfare state in the 1960s destroyed the black family, which had survived centuries of slavery and generations of racial oppression. In 1960, before this expansion of the welfare state, 22 percent of black children were raised with only one parent. By 1985, 67 percent of black children were raised with either one parent or no parent.” [me: now it is 72%] – Thomas Sowell, Battle Creek Enquirer.
  • “The welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery couldn’t do…. And that is to destroy the black family.” – Walter E. Williams, The Wall Street Journal.
  • “Instantly in the early 1970s we get welfare without any expectation of personal development or family responsibility whatsoever. Nothing damaged the black family in America, including slavery, the way that those welfare policies did. And now we are seeing the results.” – Shelby Steele, Hoover Digest.
  • “They (Black fathers) have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. We know the statistics — that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. They are more likely to have behavioral problems, or run away from home or become teenage parents themselves. And the foundations of our community are weaker because of it.” – Barack Obama
  • from 1890 to 1940, a black child was more likely to grow up with married parents than a white child.” – Larry Elder, Prager U.

Trump Dominates CNN’s “Townhall”

Here is Trump’s “CNN townhall”… I will preface it with BEN SHAPIRO’S TWEET as it is spot on, I will embed a commentator on Ben’s Tweet as well (with slight edits – like bullet points):

CNN did Trump a MASSIVE favor last night and everybody knows it. Here’s why.

This townhall was billed as a Republican primary townhall, which means that presumably, Trump should have been asked about issues Republican voters care about. Like, say, Fauci and covid; criminal justice reform and Alice Johnson and crime; the border wall and illegal immigration. Etc.

Now let me present a partial list of the issues Republican voters DON’T care about:

  • Jean Carroll
  • January 6
  • Georgia election questions
  • National Archives documents
  • Alvin Bragg’s allegations

These are all Democrats’ top issues.

[BREAK]

[/BREAK]

Collins asked zero of the questions Republicans cared about and all the ones Democrats cared about.

So, in other words, this was billed as a GOP primary night, and it was just Kaitlin Collins asking questions Democrats have about Trump.

Republican voters sensed this. So when Trump took out the kitchen sink and began hammering Collins into the wall with it, they cheered. Republicans will — ALWAYS AND CORRECTLY — cheer biased moderators being steamrolled by Republican candidates, no matter what those candidates actually say.

Trump wins more favor with Republican voters; Democrats remain offput; independents continue to wonder why we’re relitigating 2020. Ridiculous failure by CNN on all fronts — unless, of course, their goal is to renominate Trump for the ratings and because they think he’s most beatable (NOTE: this, by the way, is precisely their goal).

It is all about ratings and faux outrage to get noticed…. again. A better term is what RED STATE said it was in their post on the “townhall”:

FAUXFENDED

Here is the “townhall” with more commentary to follow:

Okay, here are some great video commentaries and play-by-play:

  • BREITBART has a good montage of short clips in their article: “Trump Hijacks CNN, Steamrolls Kaitlan Collins in New Hampshire Townhall: ‘You Are a Nasty Person’”
  • RED STATE has a good short post on the night: “Trump Dominates at Town Hall, Then Audience Focus Group Finishes CNN Off”
  • PJ-MEDIA slices up the night well in their post titled “9 Key Moments From Trump’s CNN Town Hall”

CNN then went to a focus group and encountered real Americans fed up with the media narrative of asking a question to a Republican and then later saying “why did [insert any conservative here] talk about this?” (TWITCHY H/T)

Rep. Byron Donald

Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donald sparred with a CNN panel Wednesday about the network’s Republican Presidential town hall Wednesday.

LIBERTY DAILY put together 10 short clips that should be seen:

Recent Voter Fraud Happenings (Wisconsin and Pennsylvania)

I combine two of Larry Elder’s hours from Tuesday’s show (1-18-2022). I also add video where I can to match or add to the audio Larry used for the show. This is an excellent update to the voter fraud issues I and others have mentioned since 2019.

Here are some of the resources used as well as additional links to support well-reasoned evidence.
