The US Civil Rights Commission has concluded in an extensive report that the strange decision to dismiss a case the Department of Justice had won by default against a New Black Panther Party activist for voter intimidation came after the involvement of political appointees. Furthermore, and most embarrassing, the 131-page report accuses the Department of Justice of attempting to cover up that involvement, and that the cover-up came from “high-level” officials in the DoJ. The USCRC concludes that the Civil Rights Division is “at war with its core mission”:
The Justice Department has tried to hide the involvement of high-level political officials in the dismissal of a controversial voter-intimidation lawsuit against members of the New Black Panther Party, a federal commission concluded in a draft report.
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights said the department’s reversal in the case, which drew criticism from conservatives, indicates that its Civil Rights Division is failing to protect white voters and is “at war with its core mission of guaranteeing equal protection of the laws for all Americans.” …
The commission’s draft report said the department’s “repeated attempts to obscure” the involvement of political appointees in the dismissal “raise questions about what the Department is trying to hide. ”
The report accuses the Justice Department of stonewalling the commission’s investigation and of failing to turn over key documents and make witnesses available. Schmaler disputed that, saying the department provided more than 4,000 pages of documents.
Opponents of the planned Islamic community center and mosque near Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan have public opinion firmly in their corner. According to a new TIME poll, 61% of respondents oppose the construction of the Park51/Cordoba House project, compared to 26% who support it. More than 70% concur with the premise that proceeding with the plan would be an insult to the victims of the attacks on the World Trade Center. Opposition to the project appears to derive largely from the conviction that the proposed site of the project — just two blocks from Ground Zero, in a building that formerly housed a Burlington Coat Factory outlet — is so close to “hallowed ground,” as President Obama put it.
Yet the survey also revealed that many Americans harbor lingering animosity toward Muslims. Twenty-eight percent of voters do not believe Muslims should be eligible to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. Nearly one third of the country thinks adherents of Islam should be barred from running for President — slightly higher than the 24% who mistakenly believe that the current occupant of the Oval Office is himself a Muslim. In all, just 47% of respondents believe Obama is a Christian; 24% declined to respond to the question or said they were unsure, and 5% believe he is neither Christian nor Muslim….
Obama hasn’t given people any reason to think otherwise. Example: he hasn’t been to one Day of Prayer celebration, but he holds an Iftar Dinner at the White House for Ramadan. This doesn’t wholly make the point, but it is definitely out of step with all previous Presidents. Now, being that he was deeply involved in the Black Nationalist Movement and many Muslim (Nation of Islam people) graced his church of 20-years, there may be some affinity between the Marxist understanding of his version of Christianity and the Nation of Islam. So my official verdict is out, and probably will remain as such. However, I can say [however] with all honesty that Obama is a rabid secularist who is (through his policies and his party’s direction) hurting America and her values with egalitarian suicide. His comments at the Iftar dinner likewise smack of Taqiyya in my mind’s eye. But Michael Medved set the history straight on that. Going to the church he did for twenty years makes that caricature to the right not too far fetched… because in the liberal mind such a synthesis is possible.
http://AmericasNewsToday.Com/ Todd Gaziano (Congressional appointee on the United States Commission on Civil Rights) explains how the 2008 Election Day voter intimidation charge against the Philadelphia New Black Panther Party was “open and shut”, and how U.S. Assistant Attorney General Deputy Julie Fernandes ordered to “never bring another lawsuit against a black or other national minority… no matter what they do.”
Part of the reason that this disconnect may be happening is because the people in the Obama Admin (including Obama himself) are so virulently left/progressive, that they view the white man as wrong/evil all the time. The magazine cover below is from the church that Obama attended for twenty years. That racist man on the cover was on the cover a total of three times. He received a life-time achievement award from Obama’s pastor. Maybe it wasd for being taken up on a UFO and told he was the messiah?
This is from Obama and God Blessed Racism – Remember, these Black Nationalists Liberation Theology books were sold in Obama’s church the entire time he went there.
The personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew.
Adolf Hitler – Mein Kampf
The goal of black theology is the destruction of everything white, so that blacks can be liberated from alien gods. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) A Black Theology of Liberation, James Cone, p.62
White religionists are not capable of perceiving the blackness of God, because their satanic whiteness is a denial of the very essence of divinity. That is why whites are finding and will continue to find the black experience a disturbing reality. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) A Black Theology of Liberation, James Cone, p.64
I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.
Adolf Hitler – Mein Kampf
There is no place in black theology for a colorless God in a society where human beings suffer precisely because of their color. The black theologian must reject any conception of God which stifles black self-determination by picturing God as a God of all peoples. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) A Black Theology of Liberation, James Cone, p.63
Christianity is not alien to Black Power, Christianity is Black Power. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) Black Theology & Black Power, James Cone, p.38
In contrast to this racist view of God, black theology proclaims God’s blackness. Those who want to know who God is and what God is doing must know who black persons are and what they are doing. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) A Black Theology of Liberation, James Cone, p.65
The [Nazi party] should not become a constable of public opinion, but must dominate it. It must not become a servant of the masses, but their master!
Adolf Hitler – Mein Kampf
These new theologians of the “Third World” argue that Christians [liberation theology accepting Christians] should not shun violence but should initiate it… (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) Black Theology & Black Power, James Cone, p.32
It is important to make a further distinction here among black hatred, black racism, and Black Power. Black hatred is the black man’s strong aversion to white society. No black man living in white America can escape it. (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) Black Theology & Black Power, James Cone, p.14
It is this fact that makes all white churches anti-Christian in their essence. To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people! (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) Black Theology & Black Power, James Cone, p.151
It [black liberation theology] is dangerous because the true prophet of the gospel of God must become both “anti-Christian” and “unpatriotic.”…. Because whiteness by its very nature is against blackness, the black prophet is a prophet of national doom. He proclaims the end of the “American Way,”… (Book from Obama’s Church’s bookstore) A Black Theology of Liberation, James Cone, p.55-56
