Nancy Pelosi-vs-Nancy Pelosi on Obama-Care

With thanks to The Blaze, I made a side-by-side comparison of remarks made by Pelosi. Here are some of the evidences that counter her claim, via, Michael Medved reading from a Wall Street Journal opinion piece (see also this Wall Street Journal opinion piece). Even MSNBC is pointing out the laws fall-from-grace. See also Forbes piece using stats from Avik Roy.

`Scientific Consensus` Lacks Science (Patrick Michaels of Cato and Harold Doiron of the Right Climate Stuff) ~ Serious Saturday

Global-warming alarmists continually refer to a “scientific consensus” to support drastic policy proposals. They insist on peer-reviewed publications as the standard for debate, while ignoring that standard when the standard will not support their hysterical claims. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fourth Assessment Report had notable examples, such as Amazongate (where rain-forest sensitivity to small changes in rainfall were well publicized, but were based on a blog post from an activist website); and the widely hyped, but wildly unscientific, claims of the imminent demise of Himalayan glaciers. The federal government also publishes a climate assessment report. Patrick Michaels of Cato and Harold Doiron of the Right Climate Stuff team have analyzed the draft of the most recent National Climate Assessment and found its scientific rigor to be wanting.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee – Inventor of Internet – Finds Obama’s Data Gathering Operations “Deeply Concerning”

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, found Obama’s government surveillance strategy “deeply concerning.”
The Guardian reported:

Calling Prism “deeply concerning,” Berners-Lee asks Web users to “demand better legal protection.” Here is the statement in full:

“Today’s revelations are deeply concerning. Unwarranted government surveillance is an intrusion on basic human rights that threatens the very foundations of a democratic society.

`destroy privacy and anonymity not just in the United States but around the world` ~ Goal of PRISM

I cannot believe I am posting video from the Piers Morgan Show:

From Gateway Pundit:

Glenn Greenwald, a columnist on civil liberties and US national security issues for the Guardian, spoke with Piers Morgan last night on the top secret PRISM program that has direct access to servers of firms including Google, Facebook and Apple.

Greenwald told Piers Morgan the Obama administration “has been very aggressive about bullying and threatening anybody” who thinks about exposing the program.

Six-Time All-Pro NFL Player Matt Birk a No-Show At White House Congrats

Via Gateway Pundit:

Baltimore Ravens’ Lineman Skips Trip to White House Due to Obama’s Radical Abortion Agenda

Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Matt Birk is pro-life — so when it came time for the Ravens to visit President Barack Obama for the annual congratulations to the Super Bowl winners, he decided not to go.

The pro-life NFL player explained his decision:

“I wasn’t there,” Birk told The Power Trip. “I would say this, I would say that I have great respect for the office of the Presidency but about five or six weeks ago, our president made a comment in a speech and he said, ‘God bless Planned Parenthood.’”

1000-Yard Standing Shot with Barrett M107 50-Cal ~ Ryan Cleckner

This took place at one of our Texas Triggers spring events. The instruction/explanation footage of the M107 was during the long range portion of the weekend. Ryan’s actual shot came at the end of the day after constant urging and egging on by our guests and staff to see him shoot the Barrett off-hand. He agreed to do it, but really didn’t want to be filmed. I coaxed him into allowing us to roll tape… Now he’s glad I did. – Colby Donaldson

69th anniversary of `Operation Overlord` ~ The D-Day Invasion

June 6, 2013 marks the 69th anniversary of “Operation Overlord” – the D-Day invasion where more than 160,000 allied troops landed on a 50-mile stretch of French Coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France in 1944. The invasion led to the deaths of more than 9,000 allied forces, but the victory resulted in a significant turning point for Europe’s history. Today, we would like to honor the allied forces that participated in the invasion by sharing a film created by the U.S. Army in 1969. In this film, the drama and battle action of the landing at Normandy is portrayed along with the fierce combat that took place to overcome “Fortress Europe” (compliments of the National Archives).
