John Paul Rogers is an elected county commissioner in Lake Wales, Florida. He has thrown his hat into the ring for City Mayor.
According to RightNetwork Rogers party affiliation is ‘D’.
Democrat John Paul Rogers was the head of the United Klans of America, an organization that was one of the most violent branches of the KKK.
But Rogers was also an active member of the Ku-Klux-Klan 30 years ago.

Retired University of South Florida Professor Darryl Paulson, an expert on the Klan, says Rogers was the head of the organization in Florida that was part of one of the largest and one of the most violent branches of the KKK, The United Klans of America.
As of yet, there’s been no comment or press release on Rogers’s candidacy from the Southern Poverty Law Center
