Wow! This is one hell of a photo – Lightning bolts captured around the plume of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Southern Iceland! This embedded image doesn’t do it justice – click on it to see the full picture. It comes through NASA’s “astronomy picture of the day“, so I’m reasonably certain it’s genuine.
