C4C Apologetics Calvinist Bible Translation | N.T and O.T.

I am happy to find someone who thought of the same thing I did. This is now part of my Calvinist “Reading Rainbow”

Calvinist Bible Translation (New Testament)

What would the Bible look like if the Calvinist teaching of meticulous determinism was true? I submit to you, the Calvinist Bible Translation, which adds the little nuances to ensure the Reformed view of determinism is vividly captured.

John 1:29

“Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world which he predestined them to commit.”

John 3:18

“He that was predestined to believe and believeth on him is not condemned but he that God prevents from believing in him is condemned already because he hath been made of God to not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

John 11:25–26

“I am the resurrection and the life he that was chosen by God for salvation believeth in me though he were dead as dead is a corpse that can not respond to the gospel because he is dead yet shall he live and whosoever liveth and was fore ordained to believeth in me shall never die believest thou this.”

Matthew 23:37

“O Jerusalem thou that were predestined to killest the prophets and for ordained to stonest them which are sent unto thee how often would I have gathered thy children together even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings and ye would not because I did not desire you to comest unto me.”

John 18:10

“Then having been predestined of God Simon Peter having a sword drew it and smote the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear as God hath intended desired and willed the servant’s name was Malchus.”

John 20:31

“But these are written that ye might be irresistibly drawn to believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that being predestined to believe ye might have life through his name.”

1 Corinthians 15:3

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also was for ordained to receive how that Christ died for the sins God had determined before hand that we would commit according to the scriptures.”

1 Timothy 1:19–20

“Holding faith and a good conscience which some having been caused by God due to his desires and intention put away concerning Faith have made shipwreck of whom is Honus and Alexander whom I have delivered unto Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme even though they have been predestined by God to blaspheme.”

1 John 2:2

“And he is the propitiation for the sins we were predestined by God to commit according to his Divine and special mysterious will and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world but by world I mean only those who God had chosen for salvation out of various people groups and not the whole world as most people would understand.”
