After trying to guess which 2016 candidate has received the most money from four of Wall Street’s largest financial institutions, many of them were shocked to find out that the answer for all four was Hillary Clinton.

I have to make a minor correction — and unlike most, when we make a correction, we make it prominently. I’m not going to say something today that’s erroneous and wait until Friday at 2:55 in the afternoon to fix it. So here we go: The Confederate flag does not fly over the South Carolina state capitol. Only the United States flag and the state flag actually fly over the capitol.
The flag in question, the Confederate flag, flies separately on the state capitol grounds, and the controversy is whether it should be on the grounds of the state capitol at all. It does not fly over the actual capitol anymore. It once did. The point is not changed, here. Ernest Hollings, a Democrat, put the Confederate flag up! The old Dixiecrats were Democrats!

Confederate Flag Day continues to this day in Arkansas, and when the Clintons lived there, they presided over the annual celebration.
Not only that, Governor Bill Clinton, 1987, signed into law an act that commemorated the Confederacy with a blue star in the Arkansas state flag. I know I’m spitting against the wind here. I know none of this is gonna matter an iota to anybody. But I have such reverence for you people in this audience, I have such respect that I want you to know the truth of these things. And this wave, this never ending wave of literal destruction that is just sweeping across our country is relentless. And whatever I can do to have those of you know the truth about this and the blatant hypocrisy, because the Democrats are never held to account for hypocrisy….
Marco Rubio “Hit Piece” Tracked to Hillary Pack, American Bridge
(BreitBart) During Friday’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on Fox News Channel, chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus spoke on The New York Times article, which Priebus speculated was done by Democratic primary candidate Hillary Clinton’s research group “American Bridge.”

…“Marco Rubio and His Wife Cited 17 Times for Traffic Infractions” is the headline of Friday’s Times piece, which credits three separate reporters. Missing from the headline is the important context that the candidate himself only had four violations to his name, over the span of two decades.
The Times took a lot of heat for the story from conservatives, who saw the piece as pointless and petty. But in an actual work of journalism, the Free Beacon’s Brent Scher noted that Rubio’s records weren’t pulled by the Times at all, but by Democratic opposition group American Bridge.
The David Brock-controlled American Bridge is known for its occasionally shoddy reporting work. In another embarrassing incident in 2014, American Bridge spread a video they claimed was of Republican Senate candidate David Perdue signing a young woman’s stomach… when he was actually signing her inhaler….

The big takeaway for ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in his interview with author Peter Schweizer was that the book Clinton Cash had no “smoking gun” on Hillary Clinton or the Clinton Foundation. ABC News did its own investigation of the allegations in Schweizer’s book, but Stephanopoulos argued that Schweizer didn’t prove a connection between payments and Hillary’s actions as Secretary of State:
A recent report in The New York Times, based on claims made in “Clinton Cash,” raised questions about donations made to the Clinton Foundation that coincided with the approval of aRussian uranium deal during her tenure at the State Department. The undersecretary who worked on the deal, however, has said that Clinton was not involved in the sale.
Schweizer told Stephanopoulos that the evidence comes from the pattern of behavior:
Schweizer said he does not have “direct evidence” that Clinton intervened on the uranium deal, but added that “this is part of the broader pattern” that he said should still be investigated.
“The smoking gun is in the pattern of behavior,” he said, later adding, “You either have to come to the conclusion that these are all coincidences or something else is afoot.”
Later, on Fox News Sunday, Schweizer notes eleven particular “coincidences” involving Bill Clinton and the direct compensation foreign interests could make to the Clintons (via National Review)
