The “klansman,” however, turned out to be a priest searching for frozen custard.

According to the Daily Caller, the white-robed individual was actually just Fr. Jude McPeak, a Catholic priest who wears the traditional dress of the Dominican order of friars. As for the alleged whip: it was most likely McPeak’s rosary or the brown belt worn around his waste.

McPeak serves as an associate pastor at the St. Paul Catholic Center, which is Indiana University’s center for Catholic students, the Daily Caller noted….

The Media’s Faux-Outrage over Fuax-Racism

Breitbart has some of the false news headlines:

  • “Muslim woman is mown down by grinning far-right activist who then stops to take a PICTURE during anti-Islam rally”, touted the Daily Mail.
  • “Muslim woman was purposely run over… during a far-right protest”, and, “Muslim woman ‘mown down’ by car during far-right protest…” echoed the New York Post, theEvening Standard, the Express and others.
  • However, the two men arrested for the attack have now been named as “Redouane B.” and “Mohamed B.” in multiple local news reports.

Breitbart has another example of the media’s faux-outrage about fuax-racism:

The journalists and publications which implied the hit and run in Molenbeek this weekend was a ‘far right’ anti Islam attack had no evidence to suggest that it was as they reported, but they knew what story they wanted to write.

That’s why most hesitantly wrote “during” a “far right demonstration” instead of bluntly labelling the driver a “far right activist” as did the Daily Mail, the first publication to report on the story.

Instead of acknowledging the categorical error, or clearly reporting the truth as it emerged, however, the Mail quietly edited their original article, burying the factual change three quarters of the way down the page, and failing to issue a correction or clarification.

Their headline shifted from: “…Muslim Women Is Mown Down By Grinning Far-Right Activist”, to, “…By Grinning Driver…” (see above) and the critical new details only appeared in the sixth paragraph:

“Police later announced that they had arrested two men, believed to have been the car’s driver and passenger, who have been named as Redouane B. and Mohamed B – both of whom are thought to be residents of Molenbeek.”

Numerous other articles in the Independent, Express, New York Post and others are yet to be amended or followed up with the truth. Some, like Evening Standard, only published their misleading story this morning, after all the facts had become widely available.

Journalists who bothered to check with sources in Brussels were able to ascertain the man was not ‘far right’, but a local, Muslim teenager, a fact reported two days ago by those such as Channel 4’s Paraic O’Brien.

Predictably, the ‘Islamophobia’ industry was quick to seize upon the fantastical story.

Britain’s ‘Tell Mama’ Organisation, which was once backed by the government and says it “supports victims of anti-Muslim hate” and “measures and monitors anti-Muslim incidents” tweeted about the story no less that TEN times (right).

As one Twitter user exclaimed: “Its amazing, these people are more outraged by fake tales of ‘Islamophobia’ in Brussels than the deadly terror attacks!”….

This report comes from WOOD TV in Michigan back in August 2015:

…Poindexter hopes her story can inspire others to be true to themselves.

“If I were to grow out my hair to stop these comments, what is that saying to people who want to express themselves differently? Is it saying because other people are close-minded, you shouldn’t be yourself? I think that’s a terrible message,” Poindexter said.

Mt. Pleasant police are investigating the incident as a hate crime. They are working to see if any surveillance footage from the bar can help them identify a suspect.

Gay Patriot catches us up on this fake-hate crime that is just piled in with the rest of them:

Is it wrong for me to wonder … if anti-gay violence is so rampant and pervasive in our society, why do the gay activists have to fake so many hate crimes?

A gay Central Michigan University professor has pleaded guilty for falsely claiming that a random guy at a Toby Keith concert called her a “cross-dressing fag,” punched her in the face and spat on her.

The professor, Mari Poindexter, had alleged that the man approached her at the Aug. 19 concert at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich., reports The Morning Sun, a local newspaper.

The man began hurling a rich tapestry of obscene slurs at Poindexter, she told police.

Later that night, the professor said, the same man ambushed her in the parking lot of The Cabin — a local bar. The man thumped Poindexter in the eye, she said, and spat on her.

Is it because drama queens crave attention and being a victim gets you attention in our society? Is it because society affords moral superiority to people who claim victim status? Does it enhance the political agenda of the social left to claim that those who oppose them are violent and must be suppressed by the state?

“The Community” is, of course, supporting her and goes so far as to say that the fact that she faked a hate crime makes her almost even *more* deserving of “compassion.”

From alleged race-based attacks, to fake hate in threats to bomb Muslim schools to Mosque fires… the list grows almost day-by-day. The problem is that none of what they say is happening — is really happening… so they have to make it up.

The College Fix Reports:

Another hate-crime hoax, but this one is a doozy.

The person behind the “i will kill every black male and female at kean university” tweet and similar ones posted in mid-November is a black female activist, according to police.

But wait, it gets better.

The woman – a recent alumnus of Kean University and former president of its Pan African Student Union – allegedly made the tweets during a protest against racism at her alma mater; she left the rally, headed into the campus library, created a fake Twitter account and posted the tweets, then came back to the rally and showed demonstrators the “racist” statements against them, NJ.com reports.

I mean, you literally cannot make this stuff up. This is INSANE.

I found the following from Moonbattery to be both sad (in that this list of attention seekers keeps growing) anf funny, in that Obama has set the standard for the White House.

When someone threatens to kill random blacks, two assumptions are safe to make: (1) the threatener is black and (2) it is yet another hoax. The latest inductee onto the Hate Hoax List is Kayla-Simone McKelvey, recent graduate of New Jersey’s Kean University:

McKelvey, a self-proclaimed activist, participated in a student rally regarding racial issues on Nov. 17, but left midway through the rally and walked to a computer station in a university library.

Once there, McKelvey allegedly created an anonymous Twitter account – @keanuagainstblk – and began posting threats of violence against black Kean students.

The first message around 10 p.m. said “kean university twitter against blacks is for everyone who hates blacks people” and [she followed with] a tweet about there being a bomb on the campus, and then continued with several other tweets about shooting black students at the university.

After making the posts, McKelvey returned to the rally and attempted to spread awareness of the threats, authorities said.

You can’t blame young moonbats for wanting to make names for themselves as community organizers, now that Obama has established it as a career path that can lead to the White House….

Another fake “gay hate crime” happened a few months back and made the guy some online money, via The Daily Caller:

A Utah man who claimed to be the victim of several dreadful anti-gay hate crimes could face criminal charges after confessing that he staged the attacks himself.

Several weeks ago, 21-year-old Rick Jones from the small town of Delta grabbed national headlines after he said he was assaulted and had “Die Fag” carved into his arm last April while closing up his family’s pizzeria. Following that attack, Jones claimed his home was spray-painted and that somebody threw a Molotov cocktail through his bedroom window. Jones told the local media that he believed he was being targeted due to his homosexuality, and other media outlets quickly picked up the refrain.

In response to these attacks, Jones’ family started a GoFundMe campaign in mid-June that collected nearly $12,000….

Islamophobia!? I Think Not

At the time the fire was set, it garnered much attention as a “hate crime”: “The Houston chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations called on authorities to investigate a possible bias motive in the case, citing what it called a ‘recent spike in hate incidents targeting mosques nationwide.’” But it turns out to have been yet another fake hate crime. Islamic supremacist groups such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) want and need hate crimes against Muslims, because they’re the currency they use to buy power and influence in our victimhood-oriented society, and to deflect attention away from jihad terror and onto Muslims as putative victims. Hamas-linked CAIR, designated a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates, and other Muslims have on many occasions not hesitated to stoop even to fabricating “hate crimes,” including attacks on mosques. Most notably, in February, a New Jersey Muslim was found guilty of murder that he tried to portray as an “Islamophobic” attack, and in 2014 in California, a Muslim was found guilty of killing his wife, after first blaming her murder on “Islamophobia.”

Moonbattery adds this to the “Hate Hoax List”

The media and terror-linked Muslim groups like CAIR were quick to paint the Christmas Day torching of a Houston mosque as an example of Islamo-faux-bia, a hate-crime and even suggested Donald Trump’s America-first policies were to blame.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, a nearby banquet hall provided a place for the Muslims to pray on Christmas and until their mosque is repaired.

Now that a devout Muslim has been charged with arson in the mosque fire you’ll hear crickets. Another in a growing list of mosque attacks by Muslims for which Muslims and the media immediately and falsely blame Americans. 

More Mizzou Faux Racism (Bonus: Larry Elder)

The Blaze notes more “faux” racism on Missouri campus. I say “more” because I believe the “Poop Swastika” was — at least with past faux racism cases — a reality.

University of Missouri Student Body President Payton Head issued a chilling warning of a “confirmed” Ku Klux Klan presence on campus Tuesday — only to admit it was not true hours later.

He quickly sparked panic with a Facebook post claiming he was actively working with “the MUPD, the state trooper and the National Guard” on the so-called threat.

An official with the University of Missouri Police Department refuted the claim a short time later, telling TheBlaze there is “no Ku Klux Klan on campus.” Head eventually deleted his post on the KKK scare. The scrubbing was followed by a full apology for spreading misinformation.

Was the Missouri Poop Swastika a Hoax? Probably

Something stinks at the University of Missouri. A reported incident of vandalism at Mizzou sparked university-wide protests, a boycott by the school’s 4-5 football team, and eventually the resignation of the university’s president and chancellor.

There’s only one problem: no evidence of the alleged incident, in which a poop swastika on the wall of a dormitory restroom was reported, has ever been made publicly available. Did this incident occur as reported, or was it an immaculate defecation that formed the foundation of an unimaginable deception?

According to Billy Donley, the president of Mizzou’s Residence Halls Association (RHA), the poop swastika was reported at approximately 2:00 a.m. on October 24, 2015.

“On Saturday, October 24th, at 2:00am an individual came into one of the restrooms in Gateway Hall and drew a swastika on the wall with their own feces,” Donley wrote in a letter several days after the alleged incident. “This event happened while many students, including myself, were already asleep.”

Later in his letter, Donley noted that he only found out about the alleged vandalism incident “via a flyer posted on the walls” of the dorm.

Although Donley did not respond to repeated requests for comment prior to publication, The Federalist spoke with two RHA staffers while trying to get in touch with Donley. Neither had personally witnessed the poop swastika. When asked if there was any photographic evidence of the alleged incident, one staffer replied, “Not to my knowledge.”….

Whether it’s the pay gap, campus rape culture or “white privilege,” the media’s narrative of oppression when it comes to anyone who is not straight, white and male does not reflect reality. Poor white boys in fact have the worst start in life, especially in the UK. The public has scented this inconsistency, and is starting to ask the media tough questions about its racist assumptions. The media is responding by closing its comment sections.

Fortunately, a few brave souls in libertarian journalism and from comedy are striking back, with occasionally devastating effect. The entire new season of South Park has been dedicated to lampooning social justice warriors and their bullying tactics.

It’s now open season on social justice warriors and political correctness, both of which the entertainment industry and most serious journalists now recognise as a threat to creative freedom and freedom of expression. Public opinion is shifting, too: I’ve been reporting on social justice warriors in some way or another for most of my career, and it’s only the last few months I’ve noticed real hostility toward hand-wringers.

That hostility is now coming from the left, too, with left-wingers who don’t sign up to the progressive consensus, openly mocking trigger warnings and safe spaces, aghast at their own side for the inane drivel now published daily on sites like Vox, Buzzfeed, Mic, Vice and Gawker.

But what’s so brilliant about the social justice tendency is that it refuses to acknowledge when it has been beaten in the court of public opinion. SJWs aren’t just doubling down, they’re going full retard, installing codes of conduct that read like something from the Twilight Zone. Just this week, Vox instructed its staff not to “mansplain” to one another.…

POWERLINE once again notes:

University of Missouri president Tim Wolfe resigned yesterday after the school’s football team threatened to go on strike. The threatened strike was in support of student protests over alleged “systematic oppression” of blacks at the school.

As at Yale, I have seen no reports of violence directed at any African-American at the University of Missouri. The “systematic oppression” appears to consist of a few incidents of racial slurs directed at a couple of black students (as I understand it, the main offender who was identified, a drunken student, was removed from campus pending formal disciplinary action).

Approximately 35,000 students attend the University’s Columbia campus. How can the University guarantee that no student will ever utter a racial slur?

Rich Lowry argues that the black students are really complaining about not being sufficiently coddled. I haven’t been on campus, but Lowry’s claim finds support in complaints like this one from the Student Association: “In the months [following the Michael Brown shooting], our students were left stranded, forced to face an increase in tension and inequality with no systemic support.”

Why the shooting of a thug who attacked a police officer required the University of Missouri to provide “systemic support” to students is unclear. What was the University supposed to do, postpone exams?…

Gay Patriot notes at the top that the left has “created a monster and It’s turned on them… the campus wars are about power, not justice” ~ This is something I have said for some time, and I see it as having two outcomes:

A conservative think tank had to have their yearly meeting in an undisclosed place due to threats of violence, Michael Steele had Oreo cookies thrown at him, conservative speakers like Ann Coulter need body guards when going on to a campus when speaking (the reverse is not true of liberal speakers), eco-fascists (like the above) put nails in trees so when lumber jacks cut through them they are maimed, from rapes and deaths and blatantly anti-Semitic/anti-American statements and threats made at occupy movements, we are seeing Obama’s America… divided, more violent, forcing Christians to photograph, make cakes for, and put flower arrangements together for same-sex marriage ceremonies… to pro-choice opponents with jars of feces and urine taken from them after chanting “hail Satan” and “fuck the church,” a perfect storm is being created for a real culture war… all with thanks to people who laugh at terms like “eco-fascists” and “leftist thugs.” The irony is that these coal unions asked their members to vote for Obama. Well, the chickens have come home to roost.

My other thoughts for here is something I have said for quite a while now: “leftism” eats itself. It always has. We have seen socialist groups fight for their agenda to be paramount (thinking of Russian and German historical hegemony that led to many deaths to accomplish this goal… before the end result of the power structure and well-known leaders took power — which caused even more deaths).

Because of the flag issue, already there is talk of the Jefferson Memorial (the founder of the party running around from activist issue-to-issue ~ they do this because they replace the God shaped vacuum with politics)… banning Gone with the Wind (even though a black woman [the first time in our history] won “Best Supporting Actress)… etc.

The hubris of the left can be seen as well in thinking that they [politicians] can control weather (the sun) by legislation. Or changing gender by the stroke of a pen. Pride predates the fall.

ALL THAT BEING SAID… there is a dangerous aspect to this. As the left eats itself, they have historically looked for scape-goats. Jews and Christians are typically the fall-guy… especially in the 20th and 21st Century.

The left “KNOWS” its goals are well meaning, and so find acknowledgment that they are true and society “NEEDS” them ~ again, based on the “well meaningful’ness.”

Another Heterophobic Hate-Crime

This comes via Gateway Pundit, and is ANOTHER story of faux hate (like ones here, and here — for example):

Gay New Jersey waitress Dayna Morales, a server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, N.J., claimed a family she waited on stiffed her, insulted her and left her a nasty note about her sexuality.   She told the liberal media the family denied her a tip and wrote her a hateful note on their receipt. However, on Thursday a local family contacted NBC 4 New York and said their receipt shows they paid a tip and didn’t write any such note.

Now her former co-workers say it’s not the first time she’s been caught in a lie.
“She lies about everything.”

Lohud.com reported:

Morales has been caught in multiple lies, telling co-workers she shaved her head because she had brain cancer and later telling them it was her friend who had brain cancer, her colleagues and friends said.

They said she also told co-workers at a day care center where she once worked that Superstorm Sandy severely damaged her home in Stony Point, and sent a boat into her living room. Concerned co-workers dropped by her home and found only minor damage to the carpet by her front door and no sign of a boat, they said.

“Every story she comes up with has a lie,” said Julie Howat, 23, of Pomona.

Faux Racist ~ Media Distorts

It is worse than a liberal-progressive radical lying… the Media knew that she was separated from the Zimmerman portion of the protest and clearly on the New Black Panther side of the line… yet, they still painted her as with the Zimmerman crowd. Here is the early reporting from the blogs about it, via Gateway Pundit:

That looked incongruent with the other reports from the pro-Zimmerman side. The NY Daily News, based on reporting from The Houston Chronicle, identified her as Renee Vaughan:

One woman in the Zimmerman group held a sign that said, “We’re racist & proud.”

Austin resident Renee Vaughan echoed the sign’s ugly sentiments by yelling, “We’re racist. We’re proud. We’re better because we’re white,” at the Martin group as they passed, according to the Chronicle.

The act to smear the Zimmerman supporters as racists with a leftist plant worked as the photo and comment was picked up and spread worldwide.

Scanning the internet we found that a “Renee Vaughn” from Austin worked for a far left environmental group, the Texas Campaign for the Environment.

Renee even has her photo linked to a far left environmental website.

Faux Racist Democrat Plant

  • Woman: This sign means that there are people here who are racist and apparently think that’s OK. I’m not one of them. I’m being sarcastic.

  • Fellow anti-Zimmerman Protestor: Yo. What she said.

Breitbart points out all the places where this person was touted as a genuine Zimmerman protestor:

…The Houston Chronicle’s Jayme Fraser wrote of the woman pictured above: “At one point, Renee Vaughan of Austin mocked protesters by chanting, “We’re racist. We’re proud. We’re better ’cause we’re white.” The language of the article was somewhat clumsy, allowing other media outlets to jump to the wrong conclusion.

The New York Daily News’ Philip Caulfield used the following caption for the above photo, from the Associated Press: “A George Zimmerman supporter holds a sign during a counter-demonstration of activist Quanell X’s group march in the River Oaks community in Houston on Sunday.” He also wrote: “One woman in the Zimmerman group held a sign that said, ‘We’re racist & proud,'” distorting the Chronicle story significantly.

The UK Daily Mail repeated the error, reporting that the sign was held by members of the pro-Zimmerman group in Houston, portraying it as a form of racist backlash against the New Black Panther Party march.

Democratic strategist Tara Dowdell then took to Fox News’ Hannity to repeat the false accusation, using the “racist and proud” sign story to push back against video evidence of intolerance at pro-Trayvon Martin rallies. 

Well, Sean, do some people show up at protests with their own agenda? Absolutely. That happens all the time. There was a pro-Zimmerman rally in Texas where a woman showed up with a sign that said “Racist and Proud.” And that was in the newspaper today. So certainly there are people who show up who behave badly at protests, and that’s not something you can really control for.

Gateway Pundit concludes she was a “leftist plant” who intended to trick or otherwise deceive the media. As the interview reveals, however, she was quite honest and open about her intentions and what her sign meant. She also located herself quite clearly on the Trayvon Martin/New Black Panther Party-supporting side of the demonstration (this video shows the two sides were clearly separated and distinguished from each other).

The reason the media simply picked this up as true is that it has a narrative it believes to be true — that is, the Zimmerman case was over race… and Republicans are racist. Ergo, ad hoc — and all that jazz — the sign must be true… PLUS, it is in Texas! Double-Jeopardy, it must be true. Renee Vaughan has since apologized:

(LifeSiteNews) In yet another example of an alleged “hate crime” unraveling, a young homosexual whose tale of abuse became a national issue has admitted he made the whole thing up.

Joseph Baken admitted in court today that he had perpetrated a hoax by telling police three men had beaten him because he was homosexual, lacerating his face.

Baken initially said he entered the Missoula Club last Saturday to celebrate his 22nd birthday, announced he was gay, and asked for directions to a gay bar. He called the police three hours later, at 4:30 a.m, saying a man had lured him outside to smoke a cigarette, where two other men joined him beating Baken and called him a “fa@#ot.”

The media must be grateful for hate crime hoaxes. Without them, virtually the only hate crimes would be against the heterosexual white males we are supposed to regard as demons. Another to add to the list:

A minister at a Virginia church faces charges of setting his house and car in Chesterfield County on fire.

Chesterfield County police had investigated the fires as a possible hate crime because a racial slur had been painted on the house. Police believe 41-year-old Olander D. Cuthrell, who is black, painted the slurs on his home before he set it on fire.

Too bad this didn’t occur in Arkansas during Bill Clinton’s childhood. Then when he pandered for black and moonbat votes by proclaiming, “I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child,” he might not have been lying.

So lets, talk about this a bit, and why I have been for years against “hate-crime” legislation. One reason is this:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Hate Crime Statistics Program (fbi.gov), the official source of hate crime data for the United States, constitutes the greatest hate crime hoax of all. Simply put, according to the Hate Crime Statistics Program, “Hispanic” is a victim category, but not a perpetrator category. A racially motivated crime against a Hispanic person by a white person is recorded as an anti-Hispanic hate crime by a white person. But a racially motivated crime against a black person by a visibly non-white Hispanic person is recorded as an anti-black hate crime by a white person (fbi.gov).

Taki lists the top-ten of hate-crime hoaxes, but this list can be much, much, longer. Taki has only listed ten examples but there are dozens and dozens more. This is a great compilation of hate-crime hoaxes from just 1993.

1. “KKK,” “NIG@#R,” AND “BITCH” SCRAWLED ON BLACK VICTIM’S TORSO
In 1987 Tawana Brawley claimed to have been abducted and raped by white cops, who left her to die in the garbage. She said epithets were written on her body upside down in a black substance that resembled charcoal. Brawley was sued for making up the story. She subsequently converted to Islam.

2. SWASTIKA PAINTED ON TALK-SHOW HOST’S FOREHEAD
In 1989, Morton Downey, Jr. claimed that Nazi skinheads painted a swastika on his forehead in an airport bathroom. Then people noticed the swastika was backwards, which is how it would be drawn if you did it yourself in front of a mirror.

3. SWASTIKA AND “BURN NIG@#R BURN” SPRAY-PAINTED ON CRIPPLED BLACK LESBIAN CANCER VICTIM’S HOUSE
A cancer-stricken black lesbian in a wheelchair was subjected to the visceral hatred of some stranger who spray-painted “Burn Nig@#r Burn” on her house. Police got suspicious and installed a surveillance camera, which revealed said black lesbian lighting a cross on fire. She also wasn’t handicapped and had even shaved her eyebrows to try and convince people she was undergoing chemo.

4. ANOTHER BLACK MAN DRAGGED BEHIND A TRUCK
In 1998, the same year James Byrd was dragged behind a truck, a black drug dealer named Cornelius Weaver said the same thing happened to him. It was investigated as a hate crime until Weaver was forced to admit his wounds were the result of getting the shit kicked out of him in a drug deal gone wrong.

5. RACIST HATE LETTERS SENT TO BLACK STUDENTS
In 2005, Alicia Hardin convinced authorities that racists were sending hate mail to nonwhite kids in her class. The Chicago school got so spooked, they relocated minority students to a motel. Alicia was sent to jail for sending the letters herself.

6. WHITE COLLEGE STUDENTS GANG-RAPE BLACK GIRL
In 2006 members of the Duke University lacrosse team were accused of gang-raping a black stripper. Everyone from Al Sharpton to local District Attorney Mike Nifong jumped on this “hate crime” and ruined the kids’ lives while stoking racial tension across the nation. In the end, the only people who went to jail were Nifong and the black stripper.

7. NOOSE ON COLUMBIA PROF’S DOOR
In 2007, Columbia professor Madonna Constantine discovered a noose on her office door. She was under investigation for serial plagiarism, and this incident had the potential to turn her from perp to victim. It worked—for a while. Eventually she lost her job and the noose story hit her ass on the way out.

8. CRIME SCENE INCLUDES “NIGGER” WRITTEN IN BLOOD NEXT TO BODY
That same year, Penn State football player and pot dealer Langston Carraway was found stabbed to death with the word NIGGER written next to him in his own blood. The black community was furious the story wasn’t getting more coverage until they learned Carraway was stabbed by another black football player who needed money to pay off some debts (including money owed for a tattoo). Though stories like this represent a tiny fraction of the news, 93% of black murder victims are killed by other blacks.

9. “KILL THE GAY” PAINTED ON LESBIANS’ GARAGE
On Saturday, we learned of two Colorado lesbians who had their garage door vandalized with the hateful slogan above. They felt very passionate about capturing the perpetrator until the police did a scan for spray paint on the lesbian’s hands. One of the lesbians is now being charged with criminal mischief.

(Telegraph) Lesbian couple FAKED hate crime by painting their OWN home with ‘Kill the Gays’ to frame neighbors after spat over dogs

A lesbian couple that claimed their neighbors spray painted ‘Kill the Gay’ on their condo are being accused by the police for doing the deed themselves.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado has issued a warrant for Aimee Whitchurch, 37, and Christel Conklin, 29, for forgery, false reporting and criminal mischief.

In October of 2011, the women claimed they were the victims of a horrible hate crime, saying that members of their Homeowner’s Association threatened their lives, keyed their car and left a noose at their doorstep.

10. “KKK” CARVED ON LAKOTA ELDER
On Monday, demonstrators in Rapid City, SD marched two miles to the local hospital to protest a group of racist surgeons who had carved “KKK” into an American Indian’s stomach during his triple bypass. The police looked into the allegations and couldn’t see the scarring. The “victim” had to admit he couldn’t see it either because he’s blind.

As you may have heard, a Muslim cabbie was stabbed in a terrible incident in NYC today.

The reportedly drunk perpetrator worked/volunteered for a liberal interfaith film company and there is zero evidence that he is a Fox News fan, Glenn Beck listener, Republican voter, or conservative blog reader.

No matter. The left-wing media couldn’t wait to indict the Right.

University of Michigan professor Juan Cole headlines his screed: Republican National Committee Slashes New York Muslim Cabbie.

The Village Voice asked hopefully before providing grudging updates: Was the Muslim Cab Driver Slashing the First “Ground Zero Mosque” Hate Crime?

They cannot help themselves. Wasn’t it just a few hours ago that I blogged about another act of Democrat vandalism falsely blamed on the the Tea Party? Why yes, yes it was.

From GOP fake hate crime hoaxer Ashley Todd to suicide census worker Bill Sparkman, there remains an unrestrained impulse among too many to falsely scream political violence when it doesn’t exist — and to ignore it where it does exist. There also remains a stubborn double standard and refusal on the Left to acknowledge when its side fakes the hate.

But like I said just a few hours ago and like I’ll certainly have to say again and again and again in the future: Being a Tea Party-bashing liberal means never having to say you’re sorry for smearing conservative dissent.
