Generalizations | Dennis Prager

Dennis Prager talks about correct and incorrect uses of generalizations. He uses an example by DNC Chairman Howard Dean to show how a false generalization is used. Likewise, Dennis makes some correct one’s using leftist environmentalists as an example, as well as Palestinian Muslims and Christians. (Originally uploaded in 2008 on YOUTUBE)

My wife and I recently attended a lecture on socialism by Dennis Prager, hosted by Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church (Simi Valley). Obviously – for those that are familiar with Dennis Prager know that – the wisdom shared spreads beyond the narrow lane-lines of the title for the talk. I have watched many lectures by him, this was my first time being at one in person. What is nice is that he has so many stories and experiences that every speech is a bit different. It was funny however that due to the agreement the crowd had with Dennis the question and answer period was more of a dialogue, rather than actual questions. My wife and I noted that the only questions came from young people still in school.

I went back to the oldest upload of Prager on my YouTube channel, it was from December of 2008. Still one of my favorites. THIS UPLOAD is merely that 2008 upload with an additional example at the beginning by Chris Matthews.
